I enjoy going out on the road to discuss the books I write and the characters that populate them. Whether it be talks at a literary festival, a museum, the media, or presenting to schools and colleges, I try to capture the imagination and encourage discussion with my audiences. I have given talks on major podcasts including BBC History Extra, Dan Snow’s History Hit, and the Rest is History with Dominic Sandbrook and Tom Holland. I have also been interviewed on BBC Breakfast, and, Radio 4 Today Programme. Internationally at the Wende Museum in Los Angeles, at the British and American embassies in Berlin, the National WWII Memorial in Washington DC, the Bergen International Festival in Norway, and the DDR Museum in Berlin.
